Team Brother Bear Third Annual Gala Event: Following A Hero's Footsteps

Team Brother Bear would like to thank all of our amazing supporters for their contributions to our gala event. Our Third Annual Gala included dinner, live entertainment, dancing, speeches and an amazing silent auction. Guests had a wonderful time and all for a great cause.

The Staff of Team Brother Bear is ready for another successful fundraiser in memory of Austin Brasil. The signature "thumbs up" picture honors TBB's late President's positive attitude and great spirits during his battle with a brain tumour.

Team Brother Bear was honoured to have special guest speakers Dr. Uta Bartels, MD Haematology/Oncology, HSC (above) and David Brownstone, MSW, RSW, Head of Social Work, HSC (below) from Toronto Hospital for Sick Children speak about Brain Tumours and the importance of our fundraising goals.

Kimberley Brasil, Vice-Chair, accepts a plaque from the Sick Kids Foundation acknowledging Team Brother Bear for their fundraising efforts for children and families affected by brain tumours.

Following Tradition Team Brother Bear honored the Ayer Family of Toronto, Ontario as our Guests of Honour. Team Brother Bear was proud to honour and welcome another young hero to the family, featured above, as he bravely battles a brain tumour.

The silent auction was filled with many amazing items this year, our guests were thrilled to bid on an array of items. All proceeds from the silent auction are on display to over 500 guests each year and directly support Team Brother Bear's mission.
