TBB Donates $35,000 to Children and Families Affected by Brain Tumours

Team Brother Bear is proud to announce their recent donation of $35,000 at Toronto Hospital for Sick Children on January 5th, 2010 in memory of Austin Brasil. The donation will be allocated through the SickKids Foundation to the b.r.a.i.n.child family fund and research funds. This donation was made possible by another amazing year filled with generous supporters and sponsors.

The family fund will continue to help families who are currently caring for a child with a brain tumor. The family funds helps families in need with many costs including funding treatments not covered by insurance, paying for needed medical supplies or equipment, transportation and much more. The money allocated to the research fund continues the groundbreaking research done each day and the search for curative treatments.
